Reliance Jio on Friday said Gujarat has become the first state to get 'True 5G' in each of the 33 district headquarters.

With this, Jio 'True 5G' is now present in 10 cities/regions in India (including Delhi-NCR).

As a model state, Jio will launch a series of True 5G-powered initiatives across education.

Film exhibition company PVR Cinemas has opened Kerala's first ever IMAX along with a 12-screen superplex at Lulu Mall in the state capital here.

The cinemas, which will be opened to the public from December 5, was formally inaugurated jointly by the Chairman and Managing Director of PVR Limited, Ajay Bijli, Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group International, M A Yusuff Ali and the Joint Managing Director of PVR Limited, Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, on Thursday evening.

Shares of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) gained 1 per cent and hit an all-time high of Rs 2,079.60 on the BSE in Friday’s intra-day trade on strong order prospects. The stock of the engineering & construction company has surpassed its previous high of Rs 2,078.20, touched on January 18, 2022. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.06 per cent at 62,238, at 09:30 am.

In the past two trading days, L&T has gained 3 per cent after the company won an order worth Rs 1,000-2,500 crore from Greenko Group, one of the world's leading renewable energy companies, for development of an off stream pumped storage project in Madhya Pradesh.

Delhi Metro will run trains on both up and down lines with automated signalling system in the Grey Line section between Najafgfarh and Dhansa Bus Stand from Friday onwards, officials said.
