Yahoo said on Thursday it plans to lay off more than 20% of its total workforce as part of a major restructuring of its ad tech division.

The cuts will impact nearly 50% of Yahoo's ad tech employees by the end of this year, including nearly 1,000 employees this week, the company said.

Piramal Pharma on Thursday reported a net loss of Rs 90 crore on a consolidated basis for the third quarter ended December 31, 2022.

The Mumbai-based company had reported a net profit of Rs 163 crore in the October-December quarter of last fiscal.

Revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,716 crore for the third quarter, while the same was at Rs 1,539 crore in the year-ago period.

A unit of Adani Wilmar in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh was raided by the Himachal Pradesh State Excise Department, according to a report by the Indian Express (IE). The officials inspected a carrying and forward unit of the company.

The company had failed to deposit Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection for 'several years' and this reportedly led to the inspection. According to IE, the officials checked the company's accounts and goods. A report will be prepared and future action will be decided based on it.
