Glida, previously known as Fortum Charge & Drive India, is planning to set up 3,000 e-passenger vehicle (EV) charging points across India by March 2025, said its Executive Director Awadesh Kumar Jha on Wednesday.

Backed by the Finnish government, Glida currently has 450 charging points in 15 Indian states. "Most of our charging points are in Delhi (170), National Capital Region (100) and Hyderabad (80)," Jha told Business Standard in an interview.

Education group Narayana is looking to buy the stakes of Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia and BanyanTree Finance in its group firm Nspira Management Services for around Rs 1,400 crore, The Economic Times (ET) reported on Tuesday.

Morgan Stanley PE and BanyanTree currently hold a 20 per cent stake in Nspira. Over 18 per cent of this is held by Morgan Stanley, and the rest by BanyanTree. In 2018, Morgan Stanley and BanyanTree invested $75 million in Nspira.

Abhijit Chakravorty will be the new managing director and chief executive of SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd (SBI Card) from August 12, 2023. He will succeed present MD&CEO Rama Mohan Rao Amara, who will move back to promoter company State Bank of India.

At least six people were killed in a collision between a car and a school bus on Delhi-Meerut Expressway near Ghaziabad on Tuesday. According to reports, the accident took place on NH-9 near the Crossings Republik Police Station.

According to the police, the school bus was empty and was reportedly coming from the wrong direction.
