An Air India flight made emergency landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here on Monday due to tyre burst, causing smoke in the undercarriage.

The Air India flight was coming from Hyderabad and it has been reported that all the 120 passengers on-board are safe.

India and Pakistan on Monday began formal discussions on investigations into the terror attack at the Pathankot IAF base, the first-ever visit of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) from the neighbouring country that included an ISI official.

Capital markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has told the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to look into complaints by four investors against a Lodha Group company, according to documents accessed by The Indian Express.

The Sebi communication was sent to the ED in January and is currently being investigated by the directorate, ED sources said. This is apart from the ongoing enquiry by the ED into Lodha’s investment in joint ventures with foreign firms and foreign investments of their sister concerns and group companies.

KOLKATA: Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has successfully commissioned a 600 MW coal-based thermal power plant in the state of Telangana.

The unit has been commissioned at the upcoming 2x600 MW Singareni Thermal Power Project (TPP) located in Adilabad district in Telangana. The project is being developed by Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL), India's second largest coal mining company.
