Zydus Lifesciences on Tuesday announced a share buyback of up to Rs 600 crore. It will buy back 5.97 million shares at Rs 1,005 apiece.

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) on Monday gave the market regulator 10 days to file a reply in an appeal filed by Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra in the alleged fund diversion case.

Chandra has sought a stay on an order by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) issued on August 14, 2023. SpiceJet, the low-cost airline, informed the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Monday that their disagreement with aircraft lessor Celestial Aviation is nearly resolved, with only formalities remaining.

Senior advocate Krishnendu Dutta, representing SpiceJet, informed the tribunal that substantial progress had been made, with partial payments already made, and requested an adjournment to finalise the settlement process. Consequently, the case has been adjourned to April 2024.
