Airtel launches innovative data packs for pre-paid users

Country’s top mobile operator Bharti Airtel has launched a set of innovative data packs for its pre-paid customers allowing them to save on data costs substantially on subsequent recharges.

Airtel has launched a Rs 1,498 pack which offers 1GB 4G/3G data upfront with a validity of 28 days. Post exhaustion of this data limit, the customer can have 1GB 4G/3G recharges for Rs 51 over a period of 12 months. There is no limit on the number of recharges during the period.

Kolkata: Coal India Ltd has budgeted for a capital expenditure of Rs.7,765 crore in the current year to expand mining capacity as the world’s biggest coal miner pursues an aggressive production growth target of 13% year-on-year.

In addition to that, the company is looking to spend Rs.5,069 crore on other projects, which include building railway tracks to connect mines, setting up a super critical thermal power plant and reviving fertilizer plants.

MUMBAI: Tata Motors on Friday reported a 57% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,260.40 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, due to post Brexit adverse foreign exchange impacting its British arm JLR.

The city-based company had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 5,254.23 crore in the same period last fiscal, Tata Motors said in a BSE filing.

The GMR group, which is nearing completion in building the eighth largest airport terminal in the world in Delhi, with a floor space of 5.4 million sq ft, agreed to share 36.99% of the airport's gross revenue with the Goa government.
