Zen Technologies share price today hit a record new high of Rs 1,876.05, up 5 per cent on the BSE in Monday's (August 26) intraday trade. The rise in the share price came after the company successfully raised Rs 1,000 crore through its first-ever qualified institutional placement (QIP).

The stock price of the defence simulation training equipment and counter drone solutions provider surpassed its previous high of Rs 1,865, touched on August 22, 2024. In the past one month, the market price of Zen Technologies has appreciated by 32 per cent. It has zoomed 110 from its June month low of Rs 893.80 on the BSE.

CBI sleuths on Monday started grilling former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital (RGKMCH) Sandip Ghosh and ex-medical superintendent and vice principal Sanjay Vashisth in connection with their ongoing probe into alleged financial irregularities in the institute, an officer of the agency said.

Ghosh, whose Beliaghata residence was searched by CBI officers on Sunday, appeared at the central agency's office in Salt Lake on Monday morning with files and documents, he added.

Assam Gang Rape Case: The prime suspect in a gang rape case in Assam died on Saturday, August 24 after a dramatic escape attempt. Tafazul Islam, who had been arrested on Friday, August 23, was in police custody when he tried to flee by jumping into a pond. The incident happened early in the morning while police were investigating the crime scene related to the case.

IT major Cognizant's subsidiary TriZetto has slapped a lawsuit on Infosys in a US federal court, accusing the Bengaluru-headquartered company of stealing trade secrets and information related to healthcare insurance software.

Infosys, in a statement, denied all allegations. The company asserted it is aware of the lawsuit and will defend its position in the court.
