Suzuki Motor, the Japanese parent of India's largest passenger vehicles maker Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL), is gearing up to produce affordable electric vehicles for the Indian market.

The ball was set in motion by starting work on a Rs 1,151 crore lithium ion battery-manufacturing unit in the Suzuki Motor Gujarat Suppliers Park in Hansalpur.

After the successful launch of the Fashion Studios in New York and London, Amazon launched the largest standalone Fashion Imaging Studio, Blink in India in Gurgaon.

Spread over 44,000 sq. ft. with state-of-the-art digital imaging facility, the studio is first of its kind in India and only third of its kind globally by Amazon, said a statement.

Google plans to introduce a localised digital payment service in India as early as next week, technology website TechCrunch reported, citing a report from news site The Ken.

The payment service, called Google 'Tez', will offer payment options beyond the existing ones like Google Wallet or Android Pay, the report said.
