The South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) has become the first company in the country to have crossed coal production figure of 150 million tonnes in a financial year. The SECL achieved the record during the 2018-19 fiscal and crossed the 150 million tonnes mark on March 20, a company official said.

President Donald Trump said he met Wednesday with Google Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai to discuss the U.S. military amid an extended political furor over the tech giant’s efforts in China.

Infosys, through its wholly owned subsidiary Infosys Consulting, is set to acquire 75% of Stater NV — a wholly owned subsidiary of ABN Amro Bank NV— that offers pure-play, end-to-end mortgage administration services in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The cash transaction, which is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal year 2020, will amount to €127.50 million ($143.53 million), Infosys said.

New Delhi: Sebi on Wednesday exempted the government from making an open offer for the shareholders of Punjab National Bank but directed reduction in non-public shareholding in the lender post capital infusion.

In February, Punjab National Bank filed an application on behalf of the central government seeking exemption from open offer requirement under takeover regulations.
