India on Tuesday successfully test-fired a land-attack version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands territory, sources said.

The Cyclone Nivar is expected to make landfall in Tamil Nadu on November 25 (Wednesday), the Regional Meteorological Centre of Chennai said. However, rainfall is expected to start from November 24 in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and will remain till November 26.

Shares of Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) were locked in lower circuit for the fourth straight day after slipping another 10 per cent on Monday to hit a new low of Rs 8.10 on the BSE. Universities and degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh have reopened from Monday (November 23) after nearly a gap of eight months because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, only 50 per cent of the students will be allowed to attend at a time on a roster basis.
