Synetrix Limited
Synetrix Limited provides a wide range of IT services to the UK public sector, especially the education system, though it also has a few notable private sector clients. Synetrix has helped some 5,000 schools and universities with networks, security, internet services, voice and video, and application services. Most recently, Synetrix is part of Computers for Pupils, a program that offers grants to give disadvantaged students a PC. Synetrix merged in 2004 with Equinox and two years later, it acquired educational software company i2Q. Synetrix is backed by investment firm Apax Partners.
