Voodoo Computers designs and manufactures customized personal computers primarily for the gaming and home computing markets. The company assembles and sells performance-oriented notebook (Envy) and desktop (Omen) PCs optimized with high-end graphics, cooling, and processing components. Voodoo distributes its products directly through phone and online sales. The company, which serves customers largely in Canada and the US, is a subsidiary of computer and printer maker Hewlett-Packard. HP acquired Voodoo in 2006 in hopes of expanding into the market for hardcore gaming enthusiasts through Voodoo's loyal customer base.
