Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) maintains a long-distance relationship with many of its customers. The company provides wireless and fixed-line communications services to consumer and enterprise subscribers in more than 20 countries, primarily in the Asia/Pacific region. SingTel is Singapore's largest phone company, but subsidiary Optus, Australia's #2 carrier (behind Telstra), accounts for about two-thirds of the company's revenue. SingTel primarily provides mobile and broadband Internet services, but it also offers wireline telephony, information technology, as well as pay television services under the mio TV brand. It provides Internet services domestically through SingNet, the leading ISP in Singapore.
